Condé Nast Fashion Media Inc. wanted to expand from North America into Europe and the Middle East. After much consideration London was chosen as the preferred destination. The client required a beautiful venue for 200 delegates which reflected their brand image. They also needed a stylish space for clients to network and eat in and the catering needed to be elegant but very modern.
The Mayfair Hotel, London.
The Mayfair Hotel was perfect in terms of location, style and ambience but the conference furniture did not meet the required level of luxury. To solve this we sourced elegant alternatives synonymous with the ethos of the event. However we were then required to store the furniture in advance of the event and remove the existing furniture at a venue where storage space is at a premium. Coordinating the process of timed deliveries and collection was required, precision and speed were imperative as not to cause traffic issues in this very busy part of London.
We recommended The Mayfair Hotel which is located right in the heart of Mayfair, London’s major fashion district as well as close to our client’s London offices. The client loved the 200 seat auditorium and the adjoining Crystal Room with its amazing Baccarat chandelier – the perfect backdrop for this prestigious event. Coloured lighting was used to change the look and mood of the Crystal Room for each networking element of the programme. Simple yet wonderfully impactful. This worked really well and made the room appear different each time it was used. We engaged the hotel chefs with our desire for elegant, modern and stylish catering and they came up with some superb bespoke finger buffet ideas which the hotel has since adopted on their party menus.
