The Conference Contacts team recently held their company meeting at the renowned Mercedes Benz World located on the iconic Brooklands site in Weybridge, Surrey.
The morning started in the AMG Suite, a spacious, light and airy boardroom with panoramic views of the Handling Circuits and racetrack. The room features a 24-seater carbon fibre table and advanced multimedia equipment. We were particularly impressed with the large outdoor terrace and a separate reception area which provided a unique environment for coffee or a relaxed lunch.
The team experienced first-hand the latest simulator challenge “Accelerate”, launched in 2019 as an indoor racing experience where each competitor can control and steer a miniature car around a mini racetrack, this works as a perfect icebreaker or an engaging team building activity. With a real-time leaderboard, realistic controls and live commentary the drivers and spectators can enjoy the thrills of competitive racing and after the race the top 3 took their places on the podium and the winner was presented with a trophy.
After the meeting, the team were escorted to a 10-acre off-road terrain equipped in a magnificent 4×4 Mercedes Benz Vehicle where they encountered extreme inclines and water crossings – with the help of a driving specialist on hand of course! Whether you are a seasoned professional or a brand-new driver, this activity is the perfect introduction to driving off-road.
If you want to take it to another level there are several experiences which will put your audience to the test, from 4×4 Blindfold Driving (exhilarating but reinforces the importance of effective communication) or Water on the Roof (a challenge that requires teamwork, smooth driving, precision and care) to Beat the Clock (using skill, precision and control), there is so much to offer to create a memorable experience for everyone.
