The Brief

To deliver a vibrant Christmas celebration for 180 employees while creating the perfect moment to reveal the destination of the company’s upcoming 50th anniversary celebrations.

 

The event needed to feel memorable and engaging while supporting a carefully timed announcement designed to build excitement around the company’s Monaco ePrix anniversary event.

Key Challenges

  • Delivering a fully private corporate event within a busy city-centre venue open to the public
  • Managing guest movement across two floors and multiple entertainment spaces
  • Creating the right moment in the evening for a high-impact anniversary destination reveal
  • Coordinating production and entertainment logistics within restricted city-centre access
  • Managing unexpected set-up delays when the AV production vehicle broke down enroute and the band was also delayed

Our Approach

  • Sourced and secured BOX Brindley Place, a lively Birmingham venue capable of hosting a multi-space celebration while remaining easy for guests to access
  • Designed an engaging evening programme including shuffleboard, karaoke, photo booths and live music to encourage participation and energy throughout the event
  • Negotiated concessions with the venue, including a complimentary arrival drink and earlier access for production setup
  • Carefully structured the event timeline to build anticipation and ensure the anniversary reveal landed at the most impactful moment of the evening
  • Worked closely with venue management, security and technical teams to manage guest flow and maintain a fully private event environment
  • Demonstrated rapid on-the-ground problem solving when the AV vehicle and band were delayed, quickly adapted the arrival experience to an interim music solution via the venue system and managed a discreet load-in so the delay remained invisible to guests
