You will go to the Ball… with Shayne Ward!!
By Sarah Ratner
What better way to spend a Saturday night than dancing away with Shayne Ward and Justin Lee Collins at the annual “Hilton in the Community” Foundation ball?! The CC team couldn’t think of one, so we decided to pop along…!
Hilton worldwide combines fundraising and glamour perfectly. Hilton in the Community http://www.hilton-foundation.org.uk/ is such a worthwhile charity. Sponsored by Shiva Hotels, the foundation works constantly throughout the year to improve the lives of vulnerable young people.
The team had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at the Hilton, Park Lane. We were treated to delicious food and fantastic entertainment. From the fabulous auction presented by Christopher Biggins, the stunning performance from the cast of the Rock of Ages to the ‘spirited’ dancing at the end of the evening – the entire night was a huge success. Thank you very much Hilton!
To finish the night perfectly we were fortunate enough to enjoy the wonderful hospitality of Bray Cottages www.braycottages.com . We stayed in one of their beautiful five star luxurious cottages – ‘Bray House’ – what a treat. The cottage is situated in the heart of the culinary village of Bray and all the properties are just steps away from all three of Heston Blumenthal’s restaurants, including The Fat Duck, and Michelle Roux’s sensational Waterside Inn.

Call in to Coworth – home away from home…
By Sarah Ratner

The CC team journeyed over to leafy Ascot for dinner at one of The Dorchester Collection’s newest properties.
On arrival at the hotel, it was difficult to believe we were only 45 minutes from Central London and about 20 minutes from Heathrow. Conveniently accessible yet desirably secluded. Set in 240 acres of beautiful grounds, there are buggies on call to transport you to the impressive riding stables and polo facilities or the luxurious spa. Alternatively you can just enjoy a leisurely stroll.

Think Pink Friday!
By Sarah Ratner
Recently the CC team enjoyed a very pink day! Out came the pink shirts, pink shoes and best of all pink bow ties…Conference Contacts was supporting Think Pink www.thinkpink.org.au the brilliant charity which raises money and awareness for breast cancer. Not only did the girls (and secretly the boys) relish in turning the office pink for a day, we also had a little ‘Think Pink’ competition amongst the team to raise a few more pennies. Unfortunately we were having so much fun we forgot to take any pictures to share with you however it was a great day to be part of and undoubtedly an extremely worthwhile cause.
