The Brief

A leading fintech client approached us to create a high-end incentive trip that would capture the imagination and be memorable. The programme was for 40 of their top performers together with their partners.

Reykjavík, Iceland – Hotel Borg

The trip included all the major highlights that Reykjavik has to offer such as a tour of the Golden Gate route,  including the hot springs of  Geysir, then onto the magnificent Gullfoss, or the ‘Golden Waterfall’ a breathtakingly 2.5km long waterfall. The trip included a snow mobile tour over Langjökull glacier, and a responsible whale watching cruise through the scenic Faxafloi Bay. Finally, making time to visit the famous Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa, where delegates could soak away stresses of the modern world!

“This high-end incentive trip to Iceland certainly captured the imagination of all the “winners”.  The expressions on everyone’s faces as the high-wheeled Mercedes Sprinter 4×4’s arrived to take them on a convey to the snowy glacier for snow-mobiling was fantastic and as the trip unfolder through this amazing country the cameras never remained still.

Arriving at the glacier and being decked in full thermal clothing, balaclavas and helmets had everyone ready for the adventure which unfolded over the next hour.

The scenery was spectacular and everyone commented how stunning and beautiful Iceland was.  Everyone was enthralled at the amazing knowledge and wit the guides had and many said they would certainly be returning again.

For me this trip had everything for the discerning “winner” – activities, excellent Icelandic food, witnessing whales and dolphins in their natural habitat, sipping a cocktail in the Blue Lagoon and the wonderful hospitable people of Iceland.”
